Hong Kong spirits duty: what the cut means for your prices
Since 16 October 2024, spirits over 30% pay 100% duty on the first HK$200 of a bottle's import value and only 10% on the rest. A HK$800 single malt pays HK$260 instead of HK$800. We plan how much of the cut to pass on, and the prices that win share.
Duty on the import value of spirits over 30% in bottles of up to 1 litre.
